MapochatkaGo BIG May 09 Southern CaliforniaI have not lived in So. Cal. for 10 years now and after one day back in town, I am not sure if I would ever want to love here again. Why? The traffic. I drove around 40 miles today (on a Sat.) and averaged 20 Mph. Ugggg – yes the weather is nice but the traffic sucks January 01 Skiing DecemberI have been skiing 8 out of 10 days since opening day of our local ski resorts.
 For the past 10 days it has been snowing day and night almost every day. Last Sunday we had some great runs down International at Alpental. The entrance to International was messed up, but it was all powder the whole run. Adrenaline and Snake Dance was still closed but it was still steep and deep.
Alpental has a 110' base at the top - oh ya :)
